Works great to nurse a fire. However, quality is not fantastic. The small pins have already started to pop out and the tube in the front keeps slipping out. It's nothing that can't be fixed but it's a little annoying. Then again, it's hard to beat for the price. Given how well it works, I will look for a very high quality bellow that will last forever.

I bought these for my SIL, and they're excellent! I appreciate their size; though not small, they're unassuming and easily stored with the other hearth tools. For their size and easy handling, they're powerful enough to stoke a large, crackling fire--without having to move the fire screen! This saves time, avoids embers popping out of the hearth and possible burns. Just be sure to aim the nozzle at the fire's base to increase flames. Great product!

If you have an open fire, wood burning heater or even a barbecue you need one of these great pieces of ancient technology. Ancient? Yes, but the principle works and what a great price. Manufactured using good solid materials so it's not going to malfunction or break. It sure beats using lung power!

This bellow was exactly what my fiance and I were looking for to help get our wood stove up and running each night. My fiance suffers from asthma so this was the perfect item for her to use to help get the stove fired up without triggering said asthma when I'm not around to do it. The leather strap attached to the wood handles ensures you don't over extend the "lung" of the bellow and gets the proper amount of air inside to push out.The bellow was smaller than I expected but packed a great (wind) punch when getting the coals nice and hot to build up the flame.

Not great. I was expecting much better flow from this thing. I can't say I hate it, but it's just OK. Quality is to be expected, it just doesn't get you much flow.

This is the second Bellows I've ordered and received from Panacea. I was not careful enough with the first one and when using it to blow coals into the bottom of our smoker I sucked in an ember and it made a little hole in it. The Bellows still works though! So I'm keeping it with the BBQ and Smoker to use there. This new one I just received will stay inside hanging on the wall behind my wood stove, where it was originally meant to stay. It looks beautiful and gets the embers ignited; before getting the bellows I breathed in so much smoke trying to blow the embers to life by mouth.

This isn't a huge piece of equipment. Two pieces of wood with a metal tip on one end and a bellow on the other. It's a good size for camping, but not for backpacking. If you're car camping this would likely come in very handy in building a campfire and keeping it burning. At home, in a wood burning fireplace, it has worked great. I have no complaints. And with the kind of cold we've had this winter, this bellow has already been used a lot. It's not terribly expensive so I didn't expect a Sherman tank, but it does seem pretty well made and unless you are doing something goofy with it, it should last quite a while.

If you simply want a display item then this would be a good one. It looks like a sturdy, well crafted bellow on the outside, but it really is not. After about 5-7 bbq's mine is done for. The metal tip, which is glued onto the particle board, came out after almost no damage done to it. The "leather" is some other synthetic material that melts easily after under a minute of blowing on the fire.It's not worth the cheap price if you want something of lasting quality to stoke fires.
