Reseña del editor Albert and Gage's "One More Christmas" is a warm acoustic production featuring holiday classics as well as non-traditional covers of Smokey Robinson, Joni Mitchell and Robbie Robertson of The Band. The showcase piece, One More Christmas, was written by Chris and Christine at a time when Christine’s childhood home was up for sale, and the family was getting together for “One More Christmas at the old home place”. The music swings from piano jazz to acoustic folk to a country cover of “Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus” as recorded by George Jones and Tammy Wynette. Chris faithfully renders the Charlie Brown Christmas Special piano favorite “Linus and Lucy” with Paul Pearcy on drums and Brad Fordham on the upright bass and Christine interprets a traditional French carol with beauty and authenticity. Artista biografía Christine Albert and Chris Gage from Austin, Texas have been sharing their powerful harmonies, infectious grooves and heartfelt sentiment throughout the United States and Europe since joining forces in 1996, performing both as a duo and with a hot band in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Holland, France, Slovenia, Belgium, Italy and Australia. In the summer of 2000 they toured the U.S. with Jimmie Dale Gilmore, as members of his band as well as opening the shows. The key to Albert and Gage is harmony, the blend of Chris and Christine's voices uniting to create a third voice. Their live show is full of sentiment, harmonies and instrumental theatrics...powerful, original, and very soulful.
