Born, July 4, 1970, into a family of musicians and singers in Tyler, Texas, Kimmie Swan was destined to sing. At the early age of eight, she would begin to write songs and perform publicly. It wasn’t until 1998 that she would nurture her song-writing ability and develop her unique vocal style. This would lead her to write and coproduce all songs on her highly anticipated debut album entitled Kimmie Swan – Nobody But Me, which features the hit songs "Nobody But Me," "Outside," and "I Don’t Feel It." Kimmie Swan is a multitalented entertainer with twenty years of experience. Her theatrical training in the performing arts has allowed her to star in the one-act play, Shadows. She has also done work for Tyler Junior College, Motorola, The Home Depot, NTheKnow, and Nokia. She has an abundance of experience in live performances at local venues as well as in national talent contests such as Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, Your Big Break 2000, and Star Search.
