They just work and hard to tell the difference between these and the "real thing" Time will tell re the adhesive. At this point, I would buy these again.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I didn't secretly hate
We have used Dymo label makers for years. They have always performed as or better than expected; very reliable. When I went to order the label cassettes last time, I started thinking the "Dymo" brand named labels seemed overpriced as compared to the generic ones. Half the time, you are only paying tor the name, right? (Not in this case.) So I bought several sizes and colors (black on white and clear) Upon using these for the first time, the print came out light and uneven, sometimes "stripey", sometimes parts of letters were missing. At first I blamed the label maker itself- it hadn't been used in a few weeks, maybe it just needed to "warm up". Nope. Still blaming the machine- maybe it was dying or dirty. I put new batteries in it, and cleaned the print head. Labels continued to print

A solid option
A quality option that sometimes surpasses that of the original cartridges. The tape feels more durable, has a better look to it and seems to result in a better success rate at a print with little to no defects. The price only makes it better. We use these at the office here.
