It comes with a long, wide ratchet buckle. It has fixed end webbing of approx 12". Check for other sizes as well. The ratchet mechanism provides tension over loads transported through flatbeds, trailers, or truck beds. The metal handle will reduce fatigue and ensures a firm grip during tensioning.Construction Details: In our ratchet tie-down straps, the webbing is made of polyester. It provides maximum strength and minimum stretch. The webbing construction & coating don’t allow water, dust, and other elements to stay, keeping it clean (but it will get dirty over time). The working load limit and breaking strength of this strap are 5,400 lbs and 16,200 lbs, respectively. The ratchet buckle locking mechanism keeps straps tight throughout transit and eliminates frequent stops or cargo adjustment during long-distance hauls. Hence, providing a peaceful drive.Tool-Free Installation: Thread the webbing by inserting it from the bottom of the spool and rolling it from the top. Attach one flat hook to your vehicle’s anchor point (stake pockets or rub rails).Place the product in the middle of the truck or trailer. Secure the goods by running the webbing across their ends. Use another flat hook to put it in another anchor point. Move the ratchet handle in a back-and-forth motion to tighten the webbing till the desired tension on the goods is achieved. Ensure to lock the handle by putting it in the down position and secure the slack webbing by folding and tying it around the handle. To unload the goods, unlock the strap and let the strap loosen up. Then remove hooks from anchor points. Fold the webbing in a tidy and tangle-free manner to increase its lifespan.
