Kokopelli is the best-known of the Pueblo kachina spirits, a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player who has been venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern. He is a trickster god, a baby maker, a rainmaker and represents the spirit of music and life. Kokopelli is the Hopi name for him, though it is commonly used by the Pueblo Indians as well. Other Pueblo names for him are Nepokwai or Nepokwaii. The MAN IN THE MAZE is a spiritual Symbol of the Native American Art and Culture. This symbol is said to represent a person's journey through life. Although the design appears to be a labyrinth or maze, it is actually a unicursal figure with many twists and turns. It symbolizes the WAY OF LIFE and encourages people to stay in balance with the world and to interact with it. GO YOUR OWN WAY! Creativity is appreciated by most people, young or old. Therefore, this design is a fantastic idea for those who love unconventional or Native Americans themed designs.
