This sand is so awesome! There is NO dust and the grains are like a medium coarse beach. It looks very clean. I’m also curious about mixing it with the finer sand sold by this company, but I chose to start with the larger grain so it would potentially be less messy. The only downside is that I think I’ll need three of these 50 lbs boxes to fill our Little Tykes turtle sandbox, and it costs $94 with taxes per box! I highly recommend if you can afford it.

I am extremely pleased with Jurassic sand. Two 50 lbs boex arrived ahead of schedule and had no leakage.The Golden Cambrian sand is 100% dust free and asbestos particle (thermolite) free.Jurassic sand website has short videos comparing the superior quality of the sand to cheaper play sand.These helped convince me to spend more money so as not to compromise my grandson's health.The sand does not stick to hands, clothes and toys. My 3 1/2 year old grandson loves the sand and spent nearly two hours playing in his sandbox with his toy trucks, bulldozer and backhoe.This is the only sand I will ever buy and well worth the higher price.

I really appreciated the wonderful customer service Jurassic Sands offers. I had several questions about the type of sand to buy and how much would be suffice for my child’s sandbox. They were great! My daughter also loves the sand and it’s safe and great quality, which matters to us. I’d recommend getting this sand!

cost too much

So I have been using Jurassic sand for over a year now and have purchased both the original sand and the beach sand. The original is what I use in my daughters sand box and the beach sand in the water sand table. So I will start off by saying we love this sand! It’s great when wet and it dries perfectly. Now for me the main issue is that my daughters (1 and 2) waste so much of it throwing it out of the sandbox and moving it to different parts of the deck or yard etc. I tried putting a tarp under it so that maybe I could sweep it up but it didn’t work. I bought 100 pounds of the original sand for the sandbox and 50 pounds for the water table of the beach sand for the summer (what I had last summer is all gone, it would of lasted no doubt but the girls were the problem there) they have …
