In 1999-2000 she took the PNW Film Scoring program with Hummie Mann and in 2004 completed her certifications as a Protools recording engineer. Becca writes original lyrics and music in a variety of genres. She's written theme songs for Universal Pictures and the King County Library System, and in 1999 was recognized as a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Contest. She has collaborated on dozens of songs and in 2004 was pleased to have one of her collaborations 'Of This World' released by Peter, Paul and Mary. About the Artist A northwest native, Becca Christel graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle with a degree in Jazz Theory and Composition. She composes and performs styles ranging from Jazz Rock to Contemporary Blues.
