Arcus is the name of a cloud formation - and this is exactly how this shoe feels with its low weight and pronounced cushioning. The Arcus relies on comfort and provides a comfortable running experience with pronounced cushioning and a lightweight EVA midsole, especially on long distances. To increase comfort, the Arcus is also equipped with a rocker midsole. This construction also supports the rolling behaviour forward, thus reducing pressure on the heel. The dual density sole is firmer in the forefoot and thus provides more dynamics in the imprint phase. The Arcus GTX is waterproof and relies on the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane - a technology in which the membrane is directly connected to the upper. The unique, flexible construction reduces weight, causes less pressure points and makes the shoe particularly supple. The highly profiled RB9X outsole provides reliable grip on slippery surfaces such as roots, stones and rocks. The special arrangement of the studs prevents mud and snow from getting stuck.
