Classic Rock has never been more popular than it is now. Bands like Journey, Foreigner, Europe, Styx, Deep Purple and many more are back in the charts and play sold out shows all over the world for four generations of fans. But what happens if that magic sound doesn't come from a band of renewed popularity and experience (likely made of over 50 members) but from six guys from Sweden in their early 20sMany bands, young and not young anymore, copy every day the much beloved "Classic Rock sound" but, in most cases, these bands turn out to be bad copies of the originals. H.E.A.T, instead, declare where their inspirations lie with no shame; they are sure of themselves (and arrogant just as much as a young Rock and Roll band should be) to show you who their idols are, as if they were suggesting to the listener that they can compete with them. There are no tricks here. The young Swedish boys play in the field of Journey, Europe, Whitesnake and Toto. The surprise is how strong and fresh their sound is, how credible they manage to sound daring to "fight the giants" of this music genre. Not to understand that H.E.A.T are original and very personal would be a big mistake.Among hundreds of new AOR bands H.E.A.T managed to get the attention of AOR and Melodic Hard Rock fans all over Scandinavia after just one album. In spring 2010 the band released their second album "Freedom Rock" - a true Rock AOR masterpiece. Straight after the release singer Kenny Leckremo left the band. The remaining members quickly started a competition to find a replacement which they found within Erik Gronwall - melodic, clean but also rough enough to stand up on top of powerful drums and guitars.
