The problem with this style of adapter is that the interference fit with the frame must be *very* tight and the bonding agent must be *very* strong or you're likely to break the adapter loose while tightening the bottom bracket bearings or even while riding. It'll be fine in an alloy frame with full contact area, but choose something else for carbon frames with a typical narrow carbon bearing shelf.If it is suited to your bike's bottom bracket, it's manufactured well, super stiff, and allows you to use cheap Shimano threaded bearings. If not, look for two or three-piece adapter with lips on each side. Adapters that thread together in the middle are stiffer. Those that don't are held in place in part by crank arm preload.

Wanted to run shimano cranks without all the trouble the BB30 presents. This installs easily with the loctite. Make sure you have a press on hand as you need one to install this. I recommend the ice tools one. Important note if you’re dropping this in a carbon frameset, it’s meant to be permanent.

Man, I tired to install this adapter and it didn't fit. I carefully measured, applied the included sealant. But it would not go in. I destroyed it taking it out. So I went back to regular BB30 bearings and the Wheels MFG BB30 adapter - Fit perfect and no problems. Also, once you install this, you won't get it out. As per the install instructions this is a permanent fixture. Just didn't work.
