This super soft crystallized ginger earns 10 Stars! It has the perfect amount of spice. I first had it as a cocktail garnish at my favorite restaurant in Portland, Oregon. I had to ask them where they ordered it from. It is good enough to snack on all by itself or pair with dark chocolate and cashews for a special India inspired treat. I will definitely be ordering more in the future once I eat through this 2 pound bag

I've been a fan of crystalized ginger for a couple of decades. This brand is by far at the top of the list for the best flavor and the best texture.

I've tried a lot of crystallized ginger, and It's Delish is one of the best. I really appreciate that it's made with just ginger and sugar—no unnecessary ingredients or preservatives. The slices are soft, fresh, and full of real ginger flavor. They're perfectly sweet with a nice little spicy bite at the end that lets you know you're eating real ginger. They're great as a snack or after a meal. I'll definitely be ordering these again!

Giving 1 star for quick e-mail response. You buy it, it's yours, they will not take back any open bags. What if it was a bad batch?? How does a customer know if they are getting quality if they can not taste it? No costumer satisfaction with this company. No bite, no kick and absolutely no ginger flavor! NO GINGER FLAVOR AT ALL! Stuck with 5 lbs. of rubber chips covered in sugar crystals. Went back to Nuts U.S. If you want a real ginger flavor, go with Nuts U.S.

There is so much ginger in 5lbs! It will be a while before I need more! The flavor is spicy and ginger-y and wonderful. The ginger I received is cut with the grain rather than across the grain, which does affect the texture some. It is also slightly drier than the bulk ginger with preservatives that I have bought from the store before. It is also slightly darker. I tasted the darker and lighter pieces and the flavor is not affected by the color. The texture is also not at all like the Reed's brand ginger chunks which is very jelly-like. The only thing that would make them better is if they were cut across the grain rather than with. That said, their crystallized and sugared ginger product is the bomb, to die for, the bee's knees, hot, spicy, flavorful and thoroughly, massively, addictive.Far from being just for snacking, this ginger can also be used in dishes as is, if you want a little sweet, or after soaking in water of you want to stick to savory only. Love the hot,peppery,sugary taste of crystallized ginger and it was getting expensive to buy the little 12 oz pkg at the grocery stores. The product arrived quickly and in good shape - however the taste is slightly different than what I was used to in comparison to brands sold at Whole Foods and Hy-Vee. The Delish brand is DELISH:-) but it is not as hot as other brands and has a very slightly fermented or pickled taste, which for me knocked the product down to 4 stars. The slices are a good size and just right chewy. - definitely recommend this big beautiful bag, especially if you are not a big fan of super-peppery ginger.
