It really works!
I am not sure I even realized when I ordered this pitcher for my home bar that it was designed specifically to sit under the tap and (when aimed properly) the beer would fill without having to tilt it to get the perfect amount of foam. It totally worked on my first try, and I was quite impressed! The pitcher holds about 4 pints of beer, is made of a sturdy plastic, and is easy to pour and clean. Definitely an improvement over a more standard pitcher design for this specific use.
