This product is a great combination of doing the job it is supposed to do AND helping the customer to feel good about doing the right thing. When I purchase items that are cruelty-free (or vegan, or natural...) I always wonder (and almost expect) whether the product can do an adequate job. But in this case a cruelty-free product removes my eye makeup well and gets my face ready for the good soap washing that follows. It doesn't magically get all the eye makeup off with one light swipe, but it does get the majority off without rubbing my skin raw (like some other vegan products). I also have very sensitive eyes and I have had no problem or allergic reactions to it. I am pleased and will purchase again.

This is a great makeup remover that gets the job done and doesn't sting my eyes. It easily removes all of my makeup and is easy to apply to a cotton square or q-tip to get around my eyes. I've always had good success with Beauty Without Cruelty products and love that it is cruelty free.

I love this product but this bottle arrived empty. It was in a bag in a box with multiple items. The bag was open,the contents of the bottle empty, did not appear to have emptied in the box. This item was not returnable. It's not expensive item but I didn't receive what I ordered and wanted to let you know. Thanks, Kim Holroyd

Having tried so many different types of eye makeup remover, this one stood out and I've been now using it for several years. I love that it's oil-free, gentle, and refreshing. It rarely burns or stings, and I noticed that usually happens when I apply too much of it. Not very effective on waterproof mascara, but I expected that from a natural product, and I'm totally ok with it. I hardly use waterproof makeup, and when I do, I just use this remover to take off whatever mascara it can, then take off the rest in the shower with the Pacifica Quinoa Sensitive Face Wash. Works great and hardly any residue left!

I don't know what kind of makeup girls are wearing that this doesn't work to remove it. For the record, I use Physician's Formula, Lily Lolo, Too Faced, Pacifica brands mostly. This makeup remover is THE BEST! It removes everything. It doesn't sting. It's really amazing. I've tried many others and this one is really amazing. I've also used it to remove face paint, etc. for parties/halloween. It's like magic liquid. It isn't creamy and it has the consistency of water, or more like witch hazel toner. I don't mind that at all. It works great. Be careful not to mix it up with the creamy version of this remover (in the white bottle). I have fairly sensitive eyes and this doesn't really burn.

I like the fact that this eye make-up remover is not creamy but more like a water type clear lotion. It is gentle, frangrance free and removes the make-up well without leaving any oily residue around the eye. This lotion is not tested on animals and it is why I was first interested in buying products from this company. Beauty Without Crualty also sells make-up items and other beauty products. When I lived in England I used to buy their eye shadow.

This product doesn't work very well at actually removing eye makeup. I was looking for a cruelty free alternative to the amazing Clinique eye makeup remover and found some reviews online that said this actually worked. It does a little, but you have to rub fairly hard and even then, it never gets the waterproof mascara off or even most of my eyeliner.Would not buy again nor recommend.
